Iran Military Mocks Trump with "You're Fired" as 15-Point Peace Plan Rejected

Iran's military spokesperson told Trump "You are fired" and mocked him for "negotiating with yourself." Iran rejected the 15-point peace plan as "maximalist" and issued its own 5 conditions. The 82nd Airborne was ordered to deploy as Trump declared the war "won."

On March 25, Iran's military spokesperson Lt. Col. Ebrahim Zolfaghari delivered a viral video message directly to Trump: "Hey, Trump, you are fired. You are familiar with this sentence." In a second video, he mocked: "Has the level of your inner struggle reached the stage of you negotiating with yourself? Don't dress up your defeat as an agreement. Your era of empty promises has come to an end."

This came after Trump repeatedly claimed "productive conversations" and declared the war "won." Iran categorically denied any negotiations were taking place. The U.S. sent a 15-point peace plan through Pakistan demanding Iran dismantle its nuclear facilities, hand over enriched uranium, limit its missiles, end proxy support, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Iran called it "maximalist and unreasonable" and issued its own 5 conditions: halt all attacks, war reparations, guarantees against resumption, halt attacks on Hezbollah and Iraqi militias, and international recognition of Iran's Hormuz authority.

Meanwhile, the war continues to spiral:

  • Cost: $200 billion Pentagon supplemental request. Harvard estimates total future cost over $1 trillion. War costs $11B/week — exceeding all DOGE savings.
  • Oil crisis: Brent crude hit $126/barrel. U.S. gas up 80 cents to $3.72/gallon. California above $5. The IEA called it the largest supply disruption in oil market history.
  • Military escalation: The 82nd Airborne (~2,000 paratroopers) and 2,500 Marines were ordered to deploy. A possible operation to seize Kharg Island (90% of Iran's oil exports) is being planned.
  • Allies refused: NATO rejected Trump's call to help. Trump called them "COWARDS." Only the UK offered limited basing rights.
  • Domestic opposition: 59% disapprove (CNN). 74% oppose ground troops (Quinnipiac). 43% less likely to vote Republican. Even MTG accused the administration of "murdering children."
  • Continued fighting: Missiles still hitting Tel Aviv. Iran continues mine-laying in the Strait despite 130+ Iranian naval vessels destroyed. 1,072 killed in Lebanon since March 2.

Trump started a war without congressional authorization, without allied support, without a clear endgame, and during active peace negotiations that Oman said were nearing a "breakthrough." He now claims to have won a war that Iran's military says it is still fighting — and which is costing $11 billion per week with no end in sight.
