About This Archive
Why This Exists
This archive exists because the historical record matters. When lies are repeated often enough, they can start to feel like truth. When abuses of power pile up without documentation, each one becomes easier to dismiss as an isolated incident rather than a pattern.
The Trump Fail Archive is a permanent, sourced, and organized collection of documented lies, deceptions, corruption, cruelty, incompetence, and constitutional violations. Every entry links to original reporting and primary sources so that claims can be independently verified.
How It Works
Every entry in the archive follows a strict standard:
- Sourced — Every claim is backed by links to original reporting from reputable news organizations, government documents, court filings, or other primary sources.
- Permanent — Each entry lives at a permanent URL that will not change, so it can be reliably linked to and referenced.
- Categorized — Entries are organized by type (lies, corruption, cruelty, etc.) and tagged for cross-referencing.
- Severity-rated — From minor deceptions to critical threats to democracy, each entry is rated to help readers understand the scale of the failure.
Contributing
This archive is maintained as a Git repository. If you have a documented failure to add or a correction to suggest, contributions are welcome. All submissions must include at least one reputable source.
A Note on the Design
Yes, the gold-and-black aesthetic is deliberate. The gilded style that Trump has made his personal brand — the gold-plated penthouse, the ornate lobbies, the ostentatious displays of wealth — is repurposed here in service of accountability. It felt fitting that the record of his failures should be archived in his own aesthetic.
