Trump Rages at Supreme Court in 1 AM Meltdown: Justices Should Watch Fox News
At 1 AM, Trump posted that the Supreme Court should have "studied" Mark Levin's Fox News show to understand the 14th Amendment. This after his own appointees were skeptical at oral arguments, Roberts told him "It's the same Constitution," and he left the hearing early.

Just before 1 AM ET on Monday, April 6, the 79-year-old President of the United States posted on Truth Social suggesting that the Supreme Court of the United States should have "studied" Mark Levin's Fox News show to understand the 14th Amendment. He wrote: "If they saw it they would never allow that money making HOAX to continue."
The president is suggesting that nine Supreme Court justices — including three he appointed — should get their constitutional education from a cable TV pundit rather than from the Constitution itself, 130 years of precedent, and the briefs filed before them.
The meltdown was triggered by the April 1 oral arguments where:
- Chief Justice Roberts responded to the administration's "new world" argument with: "It's the same Constitution"
- Justice Jackson asked: "Are we bringing pregnant women in for depositions?"
- Trump's own appointees Barrett and Gorsuch questioned the administration's arguments
- A majority appeared ready to rule against him
- Trump — the first sitting president to attend SCOTUS arguments — left after 90 minutes, departing when opposing counsel began presenting
In the same late-night posting spree, Trump also attacked the Court for its tariff ruling, claiming it cost "Hundreds of Billions of Dollars."
The pattern: attend a hearing, leave when it goes badly, rage on social media at 1 AM, suggest the Supreme Court should watch Fox News. This is the president who put his signature on the nation's currency, named a fighter jet after himself, and is planning ground operations in Iran. At 1 AM, he's telling the highest court in the land to do its homework by watching cable television.
