Trump Posts 60+ Times in 14 Hours After Kennedy Center Ruling — Attacks Judge's Wife, Shares AI Slop, Says Center Should "Never Open Again"
After a judge ordered Trump's name removed from the Kennedy Center, the president spent 14 hours posting 60+ times on Truth Social from his golf course. In a 700-word opening rant, he called the center "rusted, rotted, and rat and bug infested," attacked Judge Cooper's wife by name, accused the judge of a "total Conflict of Interest" that merits criminal charges, threatened the center would be "closed, probably never to open again," and declared the court system "RIGGED." He then spent the rest of the day sharing AI-generated images of himself on Mount Rushmore, commanding a space station, and walking with an alien. He also attacked the Pope, the judge blocking his White House ballroom, and Gavin Newsom — whom he depicted in a padded cell. His posting pace: 565 posts in April alone, a third of them at night.
On May 31, 2026 — the day after a federal judge ordered his name stripped from the Kennedy Center — President Trump posted more than 60 times on Truth Social over 14 hours, beginning at 11:50 a.m. and ending after 1 a.m. He was posting from his golf course in Sterling, Virginia. It was raining.
The 700-word Kennedy Center rant
Trump's first post of the day was a 700+ word screed attacking Judge Christopher Cooper's ruling. Among the highlights:
- Called the Kennedy Center "in a potential state of collapse, rusted, rotted, and rat and bug infested"
- Claimed the air conditioning and heating systems are "65 years old, and no longer functioning"
- Said Cooper — an Obama appointee — was "an anti Trump Hater" who ruled against him "because his wife probably told him to do so"
- Claimed the judge "should be brought up on charges" for not recusing himself
- Threatened the center would be "closed, probably never to open again"
- Connected the ruling to tariff cases and birthright citizenship, declaring "our Court System is RIGGED"
- Ended with "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!"
The attack on the judge's wife
Trump went after Cooper's wife, attorney Amy Jeffress, by name. He accused her of being "totally wired into the Left System" and constituting a "total Conflict of Interest" that should have forced Cooper to step aside. His specific allegations:
- Jeffress was a federal prosecutor and counselor to Attorney General Eric Holder under Obama
- She represented the House January 6 committee
- She is currently representing Joe Biden as his personal attorney
- Her law firm previously represented E. Jean Carroll
- She "doesn't use the 'Cooper' name" so people won't know about the conflict
A sitting president publicly attacking a federal judge's wife by name, accusing the judge of criminal conduct, and threatening to permanently close a national institution — because he couldn't put his name on it. From a golf course.
The AI slop
After the Kennedy Center rant, Trump spent the rest of the day flooding his feed with AI-generated images of himself. Among them:
- Trump standing alongside George Washington with a bald eagle and American flag
- Trump added to Mount Rushmore next to Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln
- Trump commanding a space station, overseeing an imaginary war from orbit
- Trump walking alongside an alien with Secret Service and military escort
- Trump pressing a red button in a control room with space explosions on screens
- Trump in a Space Force cockpit blowing things up from orbit
- Trump gesturing over naval vessels with text reading "You're getting discombobulated"
- A drone destroying Iranian boats captioned "BYE BYE, 'Fast Boats'"
The 79-year-old president of the United States, whose cognitive health is under increasing scrutiny, shared AI-generated images of himself commanding a space armada. Multiple times. On the same day he threatened to permanently close a national performing arts center because a judge wouldn't let him put his name on it.
The other attacks
Trump also used the posting marathon to:
- Attack Pope Leo XIV after the Pope met with Chicago's mayor: "Someone should explain to the Pope that the Mayor of Chicago is useless, and that Iran cannot have a Nuclear Weapon"
- Attack Judge Richard Leon (a George W. Bush appointee) for blocking his $400 million White House ballroom, warning Leon would "be held responsible for the Death and Destruction caused to our Country"
- Post an AI image of Gavin Newsom in a padded cell with "Trump" scrawled on every wall
- Post AI images of Pelosi, Biden, and Obama surrounded by garbage in the Reflecting Pool
- Post an AI image of a California Democrat depicted as a fanged wolf taking cash
- Share the same video of an Iranian plane being destroyed three times from different angles, narrating "Ba ba ba ba" over the explosions
The numbers
This is not an aberration. It is the pattern:
- 565 posts on Truth Social in April 2026 alone — about 18 per day
- A third of all posts come during nighttime hours
- 189 posts between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. in April — 83% of April nights had at least one post
- For comparison: at this point in his first term, he had posted 250 times in all of April 2018. This April, he more than doubled that
- On May 11, he posted 55 times in three hours
The Burgum dodge
The next day, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum was asked whether the administration would comply with the judge's order to remove Trump's name within two weeks. He dodged the question. The Kennedy Center indicated it plans to appeal, stating it is "confident that on appeal the court will uphold the Board's will."
The board's will. The board that Trump hand-picked — including White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, JD Vance's wife, Howard Lutnick's wife, and Trump himself as chairman. That board voted unanimously to put his name on a memorial to a murdered president. A judge said no. The president posted 60 times in response, including AI images of himself on Mount Rushmore and walking with aliens. The board says it's confident in its position.
